My visit to Elephants Camp
I got an exclusive chance to visit Elephants Camp at Thekkampatti near Coimbatore twice on Dec 2014 & Jan 2015. It was a thrilling experience to see huge elephants very closely at early morning on the banks of Bhavani river.Tamilnadu Goverment conducts elephants rejenuvation camp every year at Thekkampatti near Vanabadhra Kali Amman temple. The Mahouts of Tiruchi Fort temple elephant and Thiruvanaikaval temple elephant was very co operative.They allowed me to touch their elephants and helped me to take photos. I had close access to see elephants morning walking,bathing and feeding them.
2016 – March
My trip to North India after undergoing big surgeries
It was a great trip for me with my parents and my cousin Sridhar from March 1st 2016 to March 15th 2016. My cousin Sridhar was so helpful to me & due to his great support I was able to see many places.I went to Nagpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Gaya.
I had been to Ayodhya Ram Janma Bhoomi.It was a great experience for me when I took dip in Ganga river.It was great when I had boat ride on the bank of Ganga River and saw the famous Ganga Aarthi performed on the Ghat.I visited Sri Bindhumadhava temple and Sri Kashi Vishwanatha temple. I also tasted the hot tea (Gharam Chai) in mud cups (Mullards).
This was my first longest trip outside after undergoing both hip joint surgeries.After many years, I personally visited a garments shop and made few purchases.
I returned back to Bangalore on 16th morning at 01:00 a.m safely.
